Where we are

Based near High Wycombe, we serve primary schools within an approximate 40 mile radius.

Photo shoots for pets and events can be arranged within an approximate 30 mile radius.

Ours is a family which has a huge love of animals.

Growing up with a Jack Russell Terrier and having a large family of five children we have, along the way,  cared for:

  • 3 gerbils
  • 25 hamsters
  • 30 rabbits
  • 2 fostered cats
  • 2 owned cats
  • 1 horse share
  • 5 snakes

Our service  provides every kind of  imagery of your pet, from formal portraits, to pictures captured while your pet is 'out and about', to quality records of your dog performing at show events or agility classes.   We welcome invitations to equestrian events and are delighted to photograph more unusual pets, such as snakes or tarantulas!

Class Picks offers a unique take on the traditional and often tired school photograph.

With in-depth knowledge and understanding of the classroom, teachers and primary school pupils which has been gained over 34 years, we can work discreetly and sympathetically in the classroom environment to provide natural, heartwarming images.

It's a different approach than the usual one, which takes pupils out of lessons to an artificial studio setting. That approach so often forces awkward smiles from uncomfortable children and does little to convey anything of the classroom atmosphere. No staring awkwardly through hoops or waving encyclopedias!

Often called upon to record school events and create images for publications and websites, we can offer a product which has been refined for over ten years.

Catching children's expressions at their best when they are relaxed, having fun or simply totally absorbed in an activity is at the heart of what we do.

Of course, we also offer the traditional portrait on a white background, both for parents and for school records.

They say never work with children or animals, but in our view, catching the moment is what great photography is all about.
